Enchanted Polish October 2014

Today I'm wearing October 2014. It's a blackened green holo that somehow reminds me of A England's Beauty Never Fails, except that the latter doesn't have any holo particles in it.

October 2014 has a great formula that allows for easy application. This is a one-coater but I used two out of habit. I wore this sans topcoat.

Enchanted Polish has become one of my favourite indie brands. My only nitpick: its brush. It's too thin and the wand is quite long. Hopefully I will get used to it soon.

Lilypad Lacquer Lemon Sundae swatch and review

Recently I bought several Lilypad Lacquer polishes from Llarowe. This is the second Lilypad that I've tried from my Llarowe haul and I'm incredibly impressed, to say the least.

Their brush reminds me of OPI's Pro Wide brush- flat, wide and fans out nicely. I'm no pro in applying polishes but in the pictures below, I didn't even need to clean up. Right now Lilypad is sitting at the top of my favourite brushes together with OPI and Darling Diva.

The formula was very easy to work with. I used three thin coats over OPI Start to Finish. Like most neons, it dried to a satin finish. I topped it with OPI Start to Finish to give it a glossy look.

Indoor, natural light.

Indoor, artificial light.

Dance Legend Grey Britain, Surfing At Night, Boo Swatches

First up is Grey Britain. I enjoyed wearing this, such a soothing colour. Application was easy as it covered nicely in two coats.

Surfing At Night is a neon purple. It looks good in bottle but I don't like how it looked on me. Application was slightly tricky as the formula was a tad runny.

I layered two coats of Boo over A England Lady of Shalott. Boo is a multichrome and it is autumn in a bottle! Easy application.

ILNP Black Orchid Swatch and Review

Not too long ago ILNP was having a 30% sale and I of course, took advantage of it :D

ILNP Black Orchid is a deep wine holo. It's dark, mysterious and sexy at the same time. The application was easy, two coats were enough to achieve full opacity.

I liked Black Orchid okay, but for some reasons, I didn't fall head over heels for it.

In direct sunlight.

Enchanted Polish August 2014 Swatch and Review

The only thing that I'm going to say about Enchanted Polish August 2014 is that, YOU NEED TO GET IT.

This is my first enchanted and I finally understand why people put up with the fuss with this brand. The packaging is absolutely professional and fancy, which is always a big plus. And the moment I applied this polish, I was in awe of it. The formula and application was amazing as August 2014 practically applied itself.

August 2014 is a duochrome/multichrome polish with a jelly-like formula. It shifts between teal, blue, and at a certain angle, purple. I used two coats over OPI Natural Base Coat.

Enchanted Polish is very hard (almost next to impossible) to get, so I'm really glad that Chelsea is doing preorder for monthly mysteries.
